 Electronic Linguistic Resources Project

This project involves electronic linguistic resources such as electronic dictionaries and lexicon/ontology systems. Follow the link Publications to reach some selected papers.

We have developed several systems, which involve both database models and tools for accessing relational databases, as listed below (you can pick some documentation in Spanish for these tools).

This systems can be classified into three categories: Electronic Dictionaries, Ontology-based systems, and Migration Tools:

Electronic Dictionaries

  • An electronic basic (plain) bilingual dictionary intended to build an Informatics Spanish-English Dictionary.

          Tools:

          - Dictionary Editor.

  • An electronic monolingual dictionary (MoD) targeted to education.

         Tools:

        - Author tool. For authoring purposes.

        - User tool. For querying purposes.

          Features: Globalized, Documentation.

  • An electronic bilingual dictionary (BiD) targeted both to education and development of an an Informatics Spanish-English Dictionary.

         Tools:

        - Author tool. For authoring purposes.

        - User tool. For querying purposes.

         Features: Globalized, Documentation.

  • An electronic multilingual dictionary (MuD) as a generalization of the previous one intended to cope with several languages at a time.

         Tools:

        - Author tool. For authoring purposes.

        - User tool. For querying purposes.

Ontology-based Systems

  • A Lexicon/Ontology system (LO) based on MikroKosmos Ontology.

         Tools:

Migration Tools

  • MoD to BiD migration tool.

       Under development.

  • BiD to MuD migration tool.

       Under development.
