Bib Manager version 0.0: Features: - Bibliography manager based on the BibTeX format - Manages MySQL and Access databases as well as plain text .bib files - Imports from and exports to .bib files - Up to ten open bibliographic databases - Filter search - BibTeX and relational table views - Internationalized (currently localized to English and Spanish) Requirements: - Java 1.4 or higher Known Bugs: - The backslash is not escaped when inserting or modifying references (if you need the backslash in an entry, type it twice). - Some .bib files are not imported - Some system-dependent calls are made, so that Bib Manager only works for Windows (to be soon corrected) - An Access database cannot be created Current limitations: - The main GUI cannot be resized - Fixed installation paths - Cumbersome selection of paths through the GUI Word Citer version 0.0: Features: - Allows to search and insert references from a .bib file or Bib Manager database - Builds a list of references in a MS Word document, and formats this list according to any BibTeX bibliographic style - Imports from and exports to .bib files - Works with one open bibliographic database - Internationalized (currently localized to English and Spanish) Requirements: - MS Word 2003 Known Bugs: - The listing is allowed only once - The menu entries are sometime missed with the ones of Acrobat Reader (This can be fixed by selecting again the language) Current limitations: - Fixed installation paths |
